About the Event
- Senator Donna Campbell, M.D. is a retired board certified ophthalmologist, board certified emergency medicine physician, and proud parent of four daughters. She lives in New Braunfels and represents Senate District 25, a six county district which includes parts of San Antonio and Austin.
- Senator Campbell has received top honors for her legislative accomplishments from several organizations including (but not limited to) the NRA, Texas Alliance for Life, Texas Values, Texas Conservative Coalition, and the Texas Association of Business. Since her first Legislative Session in 2013, she has consistently received the Courageous Defense of Life Award, been named a Top Courageous Conservative, and designated a Fighter for Free Enterprise.
- Senator Campbell has also received the esteemed John Paul Award for her unwavering commitment to the protection of life in the womb.
- This past Regular Session, she was elected by her colleagues in the Senate as President Pro Tempore.
